Privacy policy
Mini ("we") makes Mini, a set of small games that share one account. This page says what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Contact: hello@minmini.so.
What we collect
- When you sign in with Google or Discord: your name, email address and profile picture from that account, and the account's id. We never see your password.
- A nickname you type to join a room without an account.
- Your choices: the face and colour you pick (Plus), and the settings of rooms you host.
- Game activity: the rooms you create or join, and the words you have been dealt, so that you are not dealt the same word twice. Clues and votes live in memory while a room is open and are not kept afterwards. Words you type for pass-and-play stay on your phone.
- Usage counts: a random device id and simple events (for example, a round was played), with your account id if you are signed in. We use these to see which parts of the games work.
- Your subscription: whether you have Plus, which store it came from and when it ends. Payment itself is handled by Apple, Google or Stripe; we never see your card.
Why we use it
To run the games and your account, to show you to the other players in your room, to apply the free limit and Plus, to prevent abuse, and to improve the games. We do not sell your data and we show no ads.
Who sees it
- Other players in your room see your name or nickname, and your face and colour.
- Services that help us run Mini: Google and Discord (sign-in), Apple, Google Play and Stripe (payments), RevenueCat (to tell us whether a purchase is active), and our hosting and database provider. They process data for us and only for this purpose.
- We may share information if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting it
You can delete your account in the app: Account, then Delete account. That removes your account, sign-in sessions, word history and subscription records, and detaches your usage events from you. If you have a subscription through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it in your store's subscription settings: deleting the account does not cancel it. If you cannot use the app, email hello@minmini.so and we will delete it for you.
Children
Mini is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, write to us and we will remove it.
